GALLERY ONE
Chinchilla State High School Exhibition
Each year Lapunyah Art Gallery Inc. invites a local school or childcare centre to participate in our Youth@Lapunyah program.
In 2026 students from Years 8,9,10,11 and 12 at Chinchilla State High School are presenting their artworks in Gallery 1.
This exhibition presents a small selection of artworks created by Chinchilla State High School students from Years 9-12 throughout 2025.
This collection of artworks offers just a glimpse into the creativity and dedication shown by the students at Chinchilla State High School.
Across the year, students explored a wide range of artists, styles and techniques – from Renaissance master Leonardo do Vinci to contemporary Australian Indigenous artist Emily Kam Kngwarray.
Their artworks investigate themes such as identity and portraiture, still life, and the ways the human body can communicate meaning through art.
The Chinchilla Stare High School Year 12 Visual Art students also embarked on highly individual creative journeys, developing personal responses and producing diverse, thoughtful and innovative final works.
